Conflict is neither good nor bad in itself. However, how it is managed often determines the outcome. To promote a conflict-competent, resilient, flexible, and collaborative culture, the Office of the Ombuds offers customized workshops and training. All workshops and training are designed to meet the learning needs of a particular group. Available topics include conflict management, negotiation, communication, dealing with difficult people, preparing for important conversations, manager as mediator, giving and receiving feedback, and more.
